Among the variety of products we inspect, pangasius and shrimp hold a significant position due to their predominance in the Vietnamese export market.

Pangasius is the foremost seafood export from Vietnam in terms of volume. Unfortunately, this species is often the victim of unjustified negative publicity. (read more on Pangasius sustainability)

Shrimp exports come in a diverse range of final products. From the traditional HOSO (Head-on Shell-ON), HLSO (Headless Shell-ON), PTO (Peeled Tail-On) and PD (Peeled and Deveined) to a multitude of possible final products where Vietnam excels (Ebi Sushi, Nobashi, breaded, Torpedo, tempura, Filo shrimps, shrimps ring and many more). The shrimp industry in Vietnam remains resilient, adapting to global conditions and investing in value-added shrimp products.

However, OFCO’s expertise extends beyond these specific categories. We inspect a broad spectrum of seafood exported from Vietnam, including large pelagic fish, various seawater and freshwater fish, cephalopods, bivalves, surimi, and other value-added products.
