This check occurs before the processor starts production, and the processor will receive authorization from the customer to begin production only after the customer is satisfied with the results of OFCO's checking. This simple procedure helps reduce misunderstandings between processors and buyers. All ambiguities are removed, and the responsibility is now on the supplier to ensure the production matches the approved sample.

During this specific step, the QCs carefully examine each defrosted fillet to assess the level of treatment and note any observed defects. While this step is tailored to the species and items inspected, other steps in the inspection process are more standardized across different species and items.
